When you get your CPAP prescription changed, you’re not really allowed to make your own changes to the settings for some reason. The instruction sheet isn’t even supposed to be provided with the machine. Maybe they think my brain will explode or my lungs will burst due to my clumsy fingers.
Anyhow. My prescription was changed from 9cm to 10cm. My apneas are completely gone with the lower pressure, but I get much better REM sleep at 10cm. Or so my titration studies tell me.
Because the change was so little and because I wasn’t getting any apneas (but mainly because my lazy ass didn’t want to get itself down to the provider) I let it go.
Until Last night.
I had decided that I would never actually make it down there so I changed it myself. It took all of 15s. Including reading the instructions. I may be reading into it, but my dreams were much more vivid.
I’ll for sure know after a while.
